Hi, I’m Ivy Wu, a freelance filmmaker, photographer, and jazz musician based in California. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Film from Santa Clara University.
I got into film during my first year of college and instantly connected with the creative side of storytelling. Working on sets taught me how much teamwork goes into every frame. It made me realize that image and sound are where my ideas come alive.
Outside of film, I’m passionate about concert and live music photography. I’m fascinated by how fast media moves today and how technology allows stories to spread across communities. Through photography and film, I want to create visual spaces where artists of all kinds can share their work in authentic and engaging ways.
